Arriving refreshed at Cape Town Airport early on March 24th, we hired a car and drove straight to Franschoek and the Hotel Akademie

Leaving Franschoek we drove up to Ah! Guesthouse, Paternoster. Here a rugged coastline to the south, a vast sandy beach, and a big birthday to celebrate. |

Onto the Silver Explorer for a jaunt up the West Coast of Africa
