Arriving refreshed at Cape Town Airport early on March 24th, we hired a car and drove straight to Franschoek and the Hotel Akademie

| A lovely hotel run by ultra friendly Declan from Newry. Scrumptious breakfasts, spacious room & a fascinating town. He advised us to take the train-whoopee! | ||||

Leaving Franschoek we drove up to Ah! Guesthouse, Paternoster. Here a rugged coastline to the south, a vast sandy beach, and a big birthday to celebrate. |
